Our manufacturing facility is a Sheet Steel Manufacturer located in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Our business began in 1989 when Nucor opened our facility, the first ever mini mill in the world to produce flat rolled steel using thin-slab technology. Our Crawfordsville family now is over 800 full-time Teammates strong – and growing. We have begun to expand our product capabilities by adding a construction grade continuous galvanizing line and pre-paint line. We are a fifth-generation family business established in 1898. We manufacture and repair pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, field erected tanks, boilers, and much more. Mi-Tech Tungsten Metals is a US based manufacturer of Tungsten Alloys, Copper Tungsten and Silver Tungsten Metals. With a full service machine shop, we have capabilities to furnish components complete to customer specifications. Our Indianapolis, IN facility is both ISO9001 and AS9100 Certified. In addition we are both ITAR and DFARS Compliant. The high-density properties of tungsten are useful as aircraft weights & counterbalances, radiation shielding and durable electrical contacts. We serve leading Aircraft Manufacturers, Defense Contractors, Medical Equipment Builders, Machine Tooling Manufacturers and Oil & Gas Measurement Instrument Makers. Our focus on customer satisfaction has facilitated the grown of our company. With over 1,100 active customers and machining over 5,000 different part numbers, we still maintain an On-Time-Delivery rating of 96%.
