Team, customers, investors and board, partners. Most companies have 100+ connectors before they finish the list.

02

Score the paths that are real

A shared employer is a coincidence. A shared project is a relationship. Five questions tell them apart.

03

Pick who asks, and write their words

The quarterly rally: one ask, five names, and a blurb they can forward in thirty seconds.

04

Time every ask to a trigger

Champion job changes, new executives, funding news, quiet deals. The weekly 20-minute sweep.

05

Track every ask to a meeting

The one-page scoreboard, and the outcome note that gets you the next intro.

The math nobody shows you

One ask to each of 100 people

Rally each connector once a quarter. Name about five people they could introduce you to, and let them pick. Advisors and investors can be asked every quarter; customers and employees about once every six months.

The ask that gets a yes

Picking is easy. Writing from scratch is not. This is the short version of the quarterly rally from chapter 5.

The rally: one ask, five namesSubject: Five people you might know (pick any, or none) Hi Mark, One ask for the quarter. Five people at accounts we care about where you may have a real connection. If one or two feel natural, I have a short note ready that you can forward as is. If none do, no reply needed. I won't ask again this quarter. Thanks, Sam

Questions

Before you download

Is 100 meetings in 90 days realistic?

It is a planning target, not a promise. The ebook works the number backwards: about 100 connectors, one ask each, about five named people per ask, and roughly one in five accepted. Your rates will differ, so the book shows you how to plug in your own.

What if we have fewer than 100 connectors?

Lean on the people with the most reason to help. Advisors and investors can be rallied every quarter with a slightly longer list. Customers, employees and partners are generous but busier, so rally most of them once every six months.

Do I need Boomerang to use this?

No. Every step works with a spreadsheet and your inbox. Boomerang maps the paths, drafts the asks and tracks them to meetings, so it just makes the whole thing faster.

Who is it for?

Founders, CROs, sales leaders and account executives at B2B companies who are tired of cold outreach and want more meetings with buyers who already trust someone they know.
