Warm path evidence: see why every relationship exists.

Warm path evidence is the proof Boomerang attaches to every warm path, so you can see why two people are connected before anyone asks for an intro. Path rows on the Paths page and in Rudy on Chrome show the posts a Super Connector commented on or reacted to, recommendations, research findings and event pages.

How it works

Warm path evidence, step by step.

Signals become paths

Boomerang maps connectors from signals that already exist: CRM history, calendars, call transcripts, Slack, social engagement, work overlaps, co-panelists, co-inventors, co-authors, classmates, shared boards and investor portfolios.

Each path carries its proof

Every path row lists the evidence behind it: a comment, a reaction, a recommendation, an event page, a patent or publication title, a board seat or a meeting.

Open Evidences to check it

Click Evidences on a path row to see each item with its link, month, title and quote, so a rep can judge the tie in seconds.

Rudy writes from it

When Rudy drafts an intro or a LinkedIn message, he uses the same evidence, so the ask names the real reason the two people know each other.

Questions

Warm path evidence, answered.

What counts as evidence on a warm path?

Posts a Super Connector commented on or reacted to, recommendations, research findings, event pages, shared patents and publications, shared schools, shared boards and investments, and meetings from Calendar Intelligence. Each item shows its link, month, title and quote where there is one.

Where do I see the evidence?

On path rows on the Paths page in Boomerang and in Rudy on Chrome. Click Evidences on a row to open every item, and a LinkedIn comment opens at the comment itself.

Does a shared employer count as a warm path?

Not on its own. A shared employer or a shared investor alone does not count as a warm path. Rudy weighs how strong the tie actually is, and the evidence shows you what that tie is.

What are Classmates, Co-inventor and Co-author paths?

Classmates paths connect people who studied together, and Same school adds a conversation starter next to another tie. Co-inventor and Co-author paths connect people who share a patent or a publication, with its title and link as evidence.

Does Rudy use the evidence when he drafts an intro?

Yes. Rudy uses the same evidence when he drafts an intro or a LinkedIn message, so the ask names the real reason the two people know each other. The person who owns the relationship approves it and sends it from their own account.
