Rudy MCP and API: your relationship graph in your stack.

Rudy MCP and API is how GTM engineers and RevOps put Boomerang's relationship graph to work outside the Boomerang app. The MCP server, on Team, Company and Enterprise, connects any MCP client or AI agent to your workspace over OAuth, read only and scoped to what each person is allowed to see.

Questions

Rudy MCP and API, answered.

Which plans include MCP and the API?

MCP is on Team, Company and Enterprise, so a rep can ask Rudy for a warm path from inside Claude or Codex. The REST API and webhooks are on Company and Enterprise.

What are API credits?

API credits measure how much data you pull through the Boomerang API. Each contact whose relationships you pull uses 1 credit, and each account-level summary uses 1 credit. Company includes 2,500 credits a month, and Enterprise is set with you.

What can the API do with intro requests?

It reads intro request details, history and available actions, and can submit, approve or withdraw requests. Zapier and Make automations can read and create intro requests and pick up champion job changes from the last 30 days.

How are API keys secured?

Keys carry scopes for lookups, reading intros and writing intros, act-as-user keys name the acting teammate in the X-Boomerang-User header, and workspace owners can limit every key to up to 50 IPv4 or IPv6 addresses or ranges.

Can I use Boomerang data in Clay?

Yes. Relationship lookups are available in Clay and return each connector's relevance, the reasoning behind a path and its evidence links. The full reference is at api.getboomerang.ai/docs.
